She’s arguably the richest musician in Kenya, so money is not an issue for her. Akothee is using her millions to court the best in showbiz for collaborations.

Akothee paid Diamond Kes 1.5 million for a collabo dubbed ‘Sweet Love’ and she got value for her money.

‘Sweet Love’ is close to clocking a million views on YouTube in just one month. Perhaps Sweet Love’s success is what has motivated Akothee to seek more collaborations with top cream musicians in East Africa.

Akothee met Ugandan singer, Eddy Kenzo , when he flew to Kenya over the past weekend for a gig at Gallileos on Saturday night.

Akothee discussed business with the Ugandan singer. Monday Blues says Eddy kenzo’s manager confirmed Akothee and the ‘Sitya Loss’ singer were working on a collabo.

The manager said Akothee would cater for all the expenses involved in the song’s production. How much has Akothee paid Eddy Kenzo? That’s yet to be established.
