“Focus and kill it” Churchill commends Njoro as he lands his first job after rehab

George Maina Njoroge alias Njoro The Comedian has landed on his feet after a bout with depression that saw him admitted at a rehabilitation center.

Njoro attempted suicide thrice in 2019, he opened up about his battle with depression months ago while speaking to his fellow comedian Zainabu Zeddy,

“The first time I licked rat poison, I was licking glucose as well. The second time I bought cow medicine, I had been told it works immediately so I took it. I also tried to cut my wrist but all attempts failed,” said Njoro.

Njoro bagged himself a radio job after coming out of rehab. The former Churchill Show comedian will be on air on Flamingo Radio which is based in Nakuru.

Njoro’s show, dubbed ‘The Backstage’ will be airing Monday to Friday, from 7 pm to 10 pm. He is hosting the show alongside DJ Charlie and Otim Otim.

Njoro’s comeback was warmly received by fans and well-wishers, among them his former boss  Mwalimu Churchill.
