Chepkosgei is on a roll and she’s just starting her career as a mainstream professional rapper.
Chepkosgei who has released her debut single dubbed ‘Itabidi Mkubali’ after coming back in the country is making some moves, major music moves, of her own that the hip hop fans in Kenyan cannot seem to wait for to come to fruition.
The young female rapper who is the very first Kalenjin rapper in the hip hop industry who is bent on changing the rap scene and taking it to the next level met up with the multiple award-winning rapper Khaligraph Jones in his studio.
Chepkosgei linked up with Khaligraph Jones in his Blu Ink Corporation(Music label) recording studio. She didn’t disclose what the two are up to, neither did Khaligraph Jones.
If the two got to work together on a record together, time will tell because between them two, nobody is willing to open up about their meeting up in the studio and/or if they got to work on a collaboration record. Time will tell if they have a project together in the works.
However, hip hop fans would be happy if the two rappers could work together in the future to drop a collaboration record preferably one that they could be trading bars since both rappers are well-known lyricists.
What makes Chepkosgei even more unique is her ability to rap in Kalenjin as easily as she can rap in English, Swahili, and even Sheng.
If there’s something that’s certain in the Kenyan music industry today is Chepkosgei’s future in the industry, it’s secured as she’s about to take over putting every other female rapper on notice as she keeps doing what she does best and that’s rapping.
