Chepkosgei can rap!
The Kenyan upcoming rapper based in Sweden can actually rap proving everyone wrong about Kalenjin rappers. She’s proven to everybody that she’s got what it takes to make it all the way to the top in the music industry. Her added advantage; she’s young.
Chepkosgei is building up some hype for herself that she can clearly match.
It’s not all hype at all when it comes to her rapping. She’s already written some of her original work while jumping on beats predominantly touched by Vinc on the Beat record producer.
Chepkosgei proves that indeed Kalenjin can rap, and represents to the fullest. She even jumped on Nikita Kering’s ‘Ex’ beats to write a sick freestyle over it.

She might be the only Kalenjin rapper who is best positioned to break the stereotype of Kalenjin s can’t rap.
Listening to her rap in Kalenjin is way sweeter, soothing, and beautiful than listening to Phyno rapping in Igbo. Now that’s the niche she can capitalize on, rapping in Kalenjin.
It’s not clear if the Sweden-based Kenyan is seriously considering doing music professionally because it seems she does her video as fun plus she doesn’t have any singles released yet.

The Kenyan hip hop industry needs more than she would imagine. She brings new blood, a new style in the rap game that wasn’t there.
She was evidently born to be a superstar in rap, there shouldn’t be anything or anyone stopping her to pursue that dream at all.
