Lon Jon is one rapper that he knows his shoes and indeed loves his sneakers big time and also loves the swoosh label company to death, he just loves Nike kicks hands down and will pick them in a heart beat compared to any shoes save for Jordans.
If you are a sneakers head, you might noticed he wore the Acronym NikeLab Air Presto snakears which I thought were Adidas Ultra boost where he quickly schooled me that they were not.
Biggest Kaka had a chat with the Kenyan, South African based rapper who has brushed shoulders with Kwesta and Cassper Nyovest among other notable South African rappers to talk about his shoe game and his sneakers.
Biggest Kaka: what’s your favorite sneakers?
Lon Jon: The Nike range from Jordans to AirForces . They really have good quality sneakers that cater for any occasion or life style.
Biggest Kaka: how many pairs do you have?
Lon Jon: For now I think about 20 pairs as I usually do give out my sneakers to the less fortunate when I can.
Biggest Kaka: between yeezys and Jordans which one do you prefer and why?
Lon Jon: Jordans any day! I don’t think i even have to explain the reason why…lol 23
Biggest Kaka: which sneakers were your favorite growing up?
Lon Jon: Really was and still am into Jordans. Although I couldn’t afford them growing up, plus my parents thought it was ridiculous to buy a pair ‘shoes’ for such prices. I had the bug
Also had a phase with FILA, they had some pretty dope sneakers back then.
Biggest Kaka: whats your favorite color of sneakers?
Lon Jon: This is a really hard question, cause different sneakers have different looks to them which may actually attract you to the sneaker more than the design. But to be safe, black. You can never go wrong.
Biggest Kaka: which Kenyan artiste apart from yourself do you think his/her sneaker game is on point?
Lon Jon: Kenya is an undercover sneaker head Country. From seeing guys collecting everywhere I look, from 2nd hand, Imports and knockoffs cause they can’t afford the originals.

Biggest Kaka: which sneakers do you wear on the weekend?
Lon Jon: Every weekend is different but as long as it has the Nike Swoosh am good to go. They really comfortable sneakers…Almost feel like I should get an endorsement deal after this interview… Nike everywhere! lol
Biggest Kaka: Gucci or Versace?
Lon Jon: Gucci just cause they Gucci.
Biggest Kaka: Do you own any Timberland boots? if yes, how many and how many colors do you own
Lon Jon: I don’t, only had 5 pairs my whole life if am not mistaken.
