Burna Boy slams Aya Nakamura, Diamond Platnumz, Wizkid to win BET Awards for a record 3 times

Burna Boy has emerged as the winner for a record three times at the BET Awards winning the Best International Act that was held last night at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

The first time he won the coveted award was back in 2019, he has since won in 2020, and this year.

Burna Boy beat Aya Nakamura, Diamond Platnumz, and fellow countryman Wizkid to win the award.

Others nominated in the category are Emicida (Brazil), Headie One (United Kingdom), Young T & Bugsey (United Kingdom) and Youssopha (France).

The event that was hosted bt Taraji P. Henson saw Chris Browned crowned the Best Male R&B/Pop Artist while H.E.R winning the female edition.

‘Heaux Tales’ studio album by Jazmine Sullivan beat Nas’s, Meghan Thee Stallion’s, DaBaby’s, The Weeknd, and Chloe X Halle’s project to win the coveted ‘Album of the Year’ category.
