Bongo rapper Nay wa Mitego disses Kenya in a new song

Tanzanian rapper Emmanuel Elibariki, alias Nay wa Mitego, released a new track targeting Kenya albeit without mentioning it by name.

The song dubbed ‘Wapi huko’ hits at Kenya’s poor leadership which the Bongo rapper blames for corruption, hunger and lack of employment opportunities for its youth.

Nay says Kenya looks prosperous in the eyes of the rest of the world while its citizens are really suffering.

The Bongo rapper noted that Kenyan youth are languishing in poverty and its girls are now more into money than love – as witnessed with the latest cases where some women were murdered in Airbnb by men they met for sex in exchange for money.

Further, Nay wa Mitego disses young men for running after sugar mummies, speaking fluent English and bragging how their country is superior to their neighbours, but back home they don’t have even electricity.

Nay wa Mitego has previously criticized the Tanzanian government in multiple songs.

In November 2022, Nay went underground after dropping the song ‘Sauti Ya Watu’ which criticizes the government of President Samia Suluhu.

The rapper was in September 2023 banned from performing in Tanzania due to another song ‘Amkeni’ which is critical of the government.
