Boity took a leap of faith and jumped in the super-competitive rap game and eventually paid off which comes to proof that you can achieve anything if you only put your mind and effort into it.
Boity who has been in the rap game for some time now has proved to his critics and haters(I honestly don’t know who would hate on such a darling though) that she is indeed one of the best rappers to ever pick up a microphone and rap.
Boity’s debut record ‘Wuz Dat?’ is officially certified platinum, yes! her very first record just got certified platinum and she has a plaque for it from Universal Music South Africa.
Boity’s hit record which featured Nasty C has been streamed 3.4 million times which makes Boity the very first female rapper to ever go platinum in South Africa.
“Wuz Datβ, my first ever single, went PLATINUM!! Making me the first-ever female rapper in SA to go Platinum! ABLE GOD! ππππππππΎππΎππΎππΎππΎππΎππΎππΎππΎππΎππΎ” Boity wrote on social media.
Taking to social media, Boity took time to give thanks to her fans for enabling her to achieve such a milestone on her career as a hip hop artiste in the music industry with the very first record she ever put out.
She most importantly thanked the Durban’s very own, Nasty C for believing in her, encouraging her to take a leap of faith in the music industry and even got featured on her debut record.
“Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart to every single one of my supporters. I genuinely cannot walk this road without your love and constant cheering on! I will never take this for granted.
Most importantly, my deepest gratitude goes to @nasty_csa for believing in me and encouraging me to take that leap. ππΎππΎπππ€π€ This is only the beginning. Hereβs to many more!!! ππΎππΎππΎππΎπ«π«π«π«π€π€π€πππ” she wrote on social media.
