The body of the late Nyeri governor, Wahome Gakuru arrived at the Lee Funeral a while back and many of Kenyan top dignitaries came to show support to his family and friends with deputy President William Ruto being present at Lee Funeral.
Others present were Murang’a Governor MWangi Wa Iria, Embu Governor Martin Wambora, Nairobi Deputy Governor Polycarp Igathe, National Assembly Majority leader Aden Duale, Transport Cabinet Secretary James Macharia, ICT’s Joe Mucheru, Kiambu’s governor Ferdinand Waititu and Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen was also at the morgue.
