Bobi Wine is fixated to change Uganda and he won’t stop until he achieves that. Bobi Wine real name Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu who is a Ugandan businessman, entrepreneur, philanthropist, musician and now the member of Parliament for Kyadondo East.
Bobi Wine who gained his moniker ‘the Ghetto President’ because of caring for the less fortunate in his community swore to have his people’s interest at heart now that he is a member of Parliament.
Speaking to AL Jazeera via satellite, he opened up about how he is going to achieve this and the first things he is planning to do now that he is an MP. Bobi Wine was sworn in as a member of parliament on July 11th 2017, he is the second musician to be elected as an member of parliament after Tanzanian, Professor Jay.
