Bobby Mapesa and Calvo Mistari who has since joined forces to form the ultimate, dynamic duo BC[Bobby Mapesa and Calvo Mistari] and released their collaborative album dubbed ‘BC’ and from it, they have released their record ‘Mapenzi Chinku’.
The ‘Mapenzi Chinku’ is a third release from the duo with it being produced and mastered by Eric Musyoka of Decimal Records.
Calvo Mistari believes the ‘Mapenzi Chinku’ is how things are in our current generation saying, “‘Mapenzi Chinku’ is a reality that is our generation is facing. This is a way of us looking at how society is going to extreme lengths for a comfortable life, even if the love is not real. Hope you love it,” adding, “This is a street song for our diehard fans as most of us can relate.”
After releasing the interesting music video for ‘Love Me’ which featured Fena Gitu with an interesting cameo, and later on went to release ‘Master’ that featured Chemutai Sage, BC are by far on a roll to be one of the serious, sought-after hip-hop groups in the game, and their latest release ‘Mapenzi Chinku’ might make them undisputed in that arena because they speaks the hard truth on that record, both Calvo and Bobby.
