Bey T’s stand on the Coronavirus situation in Kenya
“honestly, looking at these for some weeks now I sat and realized the reason I wasn’t going to post any of these because of what I thought it would come off to people as, and since that’s never played a part in my life it’s not going to start when I’m trying to put forth such an urgent message. I am disgusted not only with the way this government and many other third world countries are maximizing profit using a medical pandemic knowing the majority of their people are below middle class, but you middle/upper class privileged and unbothered children make me sicker. Looking down on charity? Just because it doesn’t directly affect us? We are waiting to be free from quarantine and turn up while our people starve in front of us? What kind of people have we become. It is not only your name or your appearance that is African, it is your blood your identity and your purpose. God is present in darkness and in light, so should our spirits. For anyone that wants to be more involved, I am planning to start a charity foundation page soon. Love to all of you and your families stay safe and stay praying.”
