Ben Pol sat down for an exclusive interview with Dr. Fredrick Bundala alias Sky, a renowned media personality on Simulizi na Sauti sit-down interview where he opened up about his marriage life with Anerlisa Muigai.
Ben Pol said that he failed to listen to his gut; his intuition was telling him something wasn’t right with his relationship with Anerlisa Muigai but he chose to ignore it altogether.
The father of one confessed that the only thing he regrets inside his relationship with Anerlisa Muigai was the fact that he never listened to his gut.
Apparently, his gut was giving him hints, telltale signs that if he would have acted on them, it would have saved him the heartache he endured after separating from his dear wife.
The ‘Moyo Mashine’ hitmaker went further to disclose that his wife was a social media wife, not a wife whom he believed she was in the first place.
Ben Pol who right now isn’t keen on mending his relationship with his ex-wife was optimistic of starting out a cute family with Anerlisa Muigai even getting their own children, sadly, this never came to fruition.
Ben Pol noted that he has tried numerous times to salvage his marriage but he ultimately gave up after realizing that his effort would eventually be all for naught as much as he was invested and committed 100% in the relationship.
He saw there wasn’t anything that could be done to help stick them together as a family, right now they are leading their separate lives.
Now, however, he said that he doesn’t feel anything at all for Anerlisa Muigai anymore but wishes her nothing but success, happiness, and prosperity in her life without him.
“Kwa saa hivi mimi namuombea tu heri lakini kusema ati namzimia, hapana hakuna kitu kinaweza kutokea kati yangu mimi na yeye. Simfeel kabisa, unfortunately, sidhani kama ni kosa, huo ndo ukweli wangu,” Ben Pol said.

Ben Pol also said that his Church wedding with Anerlisa Muigai wasn’t attended by Anerlisa Muigai’s parents or siblings but cited the coronavirus pandemic as the excuse for her family not showing up for the wedding.
The couple who have been serving couple goals for a couple of months on social media got married secretly in Tanzania before the singer decided to file for divorce in Tanzania over irreconcilable differences.
“It’s true I filed for divorce, lakini process bado inaendelea. Divorce inachukua time, so kwa hiyo kisheria bado tumefungwa pamoja lakini kihisia sidhani kama kuna mmoja anataka kuwa na mwenzake.
Alinitumia kabisa makaratasi ya wanasheria kuhusu separation and I was scared. Hapo vitu vilikuwa vimeharibika sana. Baadaye vitu vikarudi kutoka September mpaka October ndo tukawa tumerudi.
Vitu vikaenda vizuri mpaka mwezi wa pili mwaka huu February ndio vitu vikapasuka tena. I did my best hata muda ukirudi nyuma, ningefanya vile vile, hamna kitu ambacho ningerekebisha, kwa hiyo kama vitu havijaenda ni mipango ya Mungu tu na huwezi badilisha. Whatever happened in the two years, ilikuwa tu imepangwa na Mungu, maana kila mtu alikuwa alivyo na familia zilikuwa zinatusapoti.” said Ben Pol.
Anerlisa later hinted through social media 4 months ago that she has already signed the divorce papers saying that she’s now more focused on her life.
On her Instagram story, she shared, “I would like to make it clear that I signed whatever was needed to be signed and I do not wish to be associated with anyone. My focus right now is my career and my peace.”
Both parties involved are happy without each other leading their own private lives to the best of their ability, of course, after they unfollowed each other for good this time around.
