Ben Pol real name Benard Michael Paul Mnyang’anga has converted to Islam denouncing his Christian faith, life, and ways.
As of 23 October 2020, Ben Pol seized to be referred to as a Christian but a Muslim.
The celebrated musician took his Islam vows at Masjid Maamur and even shared a declaration certificate to Islam on social media to tell the entire world.

Ben Pol captioned his photos after converting to Islam inside the Masjid Maamur mosque in a powerful Arabic Islamic phrase: “Bismillah hir Rahman nir rahim”. The meaning of the Islamic phrase is, “In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious and The Most Merciful“. It’s recited by Muslims daily for many different occasions.
“I, the above named Bernard Paul Mnyang’anga hereby solemnly affirm and declare that as of this day the 23/10/2020, I have converted to Islam and have resolved to remain a Muslim until the end of my life here on earth.” Ben Pol’s declaration of conversation to Islam read, “When I die my burial should be conducted in accordance with Islamic rituals which confirm to be the Quran and the sunna of the Holy Prophet Muhammad(S.A.W).”
Among many celebrities who congratulated Ben Pol’s newfound faith, Diamond Platnumz was among them, he said, “mashaAllah” which is an Arabic phrase that means “what God has willed” and is used to express appreciation, joy, praise, or thankfulness for an event or person that was just mentioned.

So far, Anerlisa Muigai hasn’t responded and/or reacted to her husband converting his faith from Christianity to Muslim.
