Ivy Chelimo got the attention of the entire nation after she came up with Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua’s now-viral nickname Riggy G which she coined from his name.
The beautiful 24-year-old got to finally meet up with Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua who quite recently came to love and appreciate the name given to him by Ivy Chelimo.
Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua didn’t just meet up with her for photo ops alone, he also offered her a job at Harambee House Annex office exciting netizens even more.
DP Gachagua who tasked his songs to get ahold of Ivy Chelimo didn’t get into details about what the role of the job he offered Chelimo will be.
Later on, after the two met, Deputy President Gachagua asked Ivy Chelimo to accompany him on a function in Kajiado.
“This lady is called Ivy Chelimo. She changed my name from Rigathi Gachagua and called me Riggy G. I have looked for her and awarded her a job opportunity in my office,” said Gachagua during a function in Kajiado where he was scheduled to attend.
Being as cool as he can be, Rigathi Gachagua gave Ivy Chelimo who flanked him an opportunity to talk to the public and introduce herself.
“Good afternoon everyone. Thank you Mr Deputy President for the job. He offered me a job. He is very passionate about the youth taking up places in this government,” she said in part.
“I assure you he has things in place to ensure we the youth take up opportunities. And also you the youth, don’t sit down and wait for opportunities to come to you, run after activities as the youth. There is so much in this government for us to do,” she continued in a very brief address to the public.
That being said, not a lot of people know who Ivy Chelimo really is.
She’s not so far away from the spotlight since she is a content creator who loves to travel and enjoys posting her photos and videos of herself travelling around the country on her Instagram gaining her numbers of loyal sterns way before she caught the attention of the public.
