Bamboo spits his Nairoberry verse and yes, he still got it

2 mins read

Bamboo still got bars and it is amazing how he still remembers his verse on the ‘Nairobbery’ single from the K-South that was released over a decade ago.

Those K-South era were the days when Kenyan hip hop were hip hop that could go toe to toe with authentic hip hop like Mobb Deep’s. Bamboo who is now a born again Christian dropped the bars on that single and he still aced it. How I wish Abbas and himself could just shoot a music video for this ‘Nairobbery’ single. I know I would like to watch it.

Bamboo also released the lyrics for his verse so you can rap alongside him.

Verse 1
In the beginning now God created Adam and Eve
And Adam took Eve and Eve conceived and bore seeds
By the name of Able but before him was born Cain
Both of whom had the blood of Adam flowing through their veins,
The first brothers on earth,
Brothers by birth,
The same mother
One became jealous and the other was slain,
Because of the pain
That Cain felt
He made his brother die
And his momma cried
And this was the first homicide
But before this
When Adam and Eve were in the garden
The serpent came
callin her name
Beggin her pardon
He asked her
Of what the master
Said of the tree,
Then she replied, “the day she would try
That she would die”
He told her a lie
See he made the woman decide,
He said the day you eat of this tree,
you would be wise,
The woman believed,
She reached out and took of the tree
And having received,
That’s how people were easily deceived
This explains,
Alot about the human being brain
And what Jesus did was break this chain
So we could gain
Mane!!

I love everybody who loves everybody, somebody got to love somebody at some point.
Music is something that comes natural to everybody and it's a language that everybody can understand, I understand it and that's why I speak it
fluently, do you.
