Astar contemplating coming back to rap after Khaligraph Jones paid homage to him

Celebrated and veteran rapper in the gospel music industry, Astar real name Richard Njau might be contemplating getting back to rapping, especially after he got a massive shout out from the one and only rap’s OG, Khaligraph Jones.

Taking to social media, Astar who is now an entrepreneur and businessman of course with strings in the music industry to this day shared a clip of Khaligraph Jones rapping over his old record that was and still is considered a masterpiece in the Kenyan music industry.

“So Brian Ouko Omollo aka Khaligraph Jones aka Papa Jones aka #RespectTheOG sent me a message!!” Astar said on social media, “Wasalalalala na rudi rap game why lie!!”

Khaligraph Jones is known for respecting the rappers who came before him and pays as much respect as he gives to established rappers who he appreciates and he even got to work with the veteran, respected Kenyan late rapper, Chris Kantai in a song ‘Ting Badi Malo’ back in 2016 that he won’t ever forget.

Khaligraph Jones has also worked with Chiwawa who is credited for bringing King Kaka into the mainstream music industry back in the day making him one and the only rapper who appreciates veteran rappers in the game today.

Astar who is the co-founder and Director of 4 Up Digital shared the video the Kayole rapper sent him exclusively as he paid homage to him and is seriously thinking about coming back to hip hop after taking a hiatus of over 10 years since he rapped.
