Anyiko Owoko: I consider Nazizi as one of the best rappers in Africa, period

The celebrity publicist, Public Relations maven, journalist, blogger and all round music and entertainment aficionado -Anyiko Owoko is the perfect definition of more than a triple threat. The young connoisseur is a former publicist to award winning East African music group; Sauti Sol and it’s safe to say she has proven over the years that her opinion counts when it comes to music, artistes and being a music critic.

Anyiko Owoko who has since opened up her own YouTube channel where she gets to interview musicians, sat down with one veteran and pioneer rapper in Kenyan music history, Nazizi or the First Lady to interview her on her #VIPACCESSWithAnyikoshow.

Anyiko Owoko had some well deserved nice things to say about Nazizi with one being that she’s one of the best rappers Africa has ever produced thus far and she’s proud of her and what she has achieved on her lucrative long career that keeps on getting fruitful by the day.

“If I start to write and say how much respect I have to Nazizi; it will never end. She comes from a very short list of artists who have inspired me from my earliest experience and remembrance of Kenyan pop and hip hop music.” Anyiko Owoko said in part on her social media post.

Nazizi is currently a part of the upcoming season of Coke Studio Africa expected to drop on February 2019 and she has already had the opportunity to meet up with South Africa’s latest hip hop and rap’s protégé Boity who has a hit record out dubbed ‘Wuz Dat’ together with Nasty C.
