Kibe has the requisite skills to take a radio station from scratch to dominate the airwaves, he started the morning drive at NRG Radio together with Kamene Goro when the station was launched on March 5th, 2018.

Within a year, Kibe’s work was noticed by Kiss FM who opted to poach him together with Kamene to host the station’s morning drive.

Kamene and Kibe were however embroiled in a bitter court battle with NRG Radio’s management when they quit the station in July 2019.

NRG sought a court injunction that compelled Kamene and Kibe to be off air for at least three months for violating a non-compete clause in their contracts.

Kibe and Kamene were supposed to join Kiss FM in July but only went on air in September 2019 because of the court order.

The controversial presenter however didn’t stay at Kiss FM for long, Kibe unceremoniously left the station in June 2020 after a nearly one-year stint.
