Andrew Kibe for the first time has clarified the rumors circulating on social networks that he was a pastor before he quit salvation.
Kibe blames Lang’ata Member of Parliament Phelix Odiwuor, popularly known as Jalang’o, for starting the rumors, which he said are false.
However, Kibe had a hard time talking about the pictures that have been circulating on the internet showing him in church as a preacher and some also showing him holding a Bible.
According to him, he has never been a pastor but those pictures were taken when he went to a funeral to represent his preacher friend who was drunk.
“I have never been a pastor, I have never been a person to lead exercises in the gym. But one day my friend, who is a pastor, was quite drunk and could not perform the service at a child’s funeral. So he called me and told me that we can’t find a pastor and you know we have to lead the funeral. I put on a suit and went. I wish you could be there to see me at the funeral at the Lang’ata cemetery,” Kibe explained.
“I prayed there, I gave until the sermon. Even now if you want I can preach, I learned the Bible because my friend at that time was a preacher,” he added.
Kibe said that the things that are going on in the internet are lies that are defaming him.
Talking about leaving the country suddenly, Kibe said that during that period he was very bankrupt and he needed to find an idea how to empower himself financially.
So he talked to his American friend and told him about everything and the friend sent him money for the plane fare and that’s how he left.
