Akothee dropped out of school to get married to her first husband Jared Okell o when she was only 14 years old.

The mother of five expressed regret at her decision to get married at a young age as she passed by her former school.

On Sunday, the renowned musician and entrepreneur shared a photo of herself standing next to the Nyabisawa Girls High School sign.

In the details section, the musician opened up about how he left school in Migori County to get married at a very young age.

He revealed that every time he passes his old school, he always regrets why he disappointed his parents by running away from school to start a family.

“This is the school I dumped at the age of 14 running to become a wife 🤔 Everytime I pass by here on my way to THIM LICH ,I feel soo bad on why I had to hurt my Parents this much . Kwani what was there in marriage at 14? Ni nini ilikuwa inanisumbua hata🤔. Anyway,” Akothee wrote.

Earlier this month, Akothee described her first marriage to the father of her three daughters, Jared Okello as just a marriage practice.

She noted that she was very young when her co-parent married and knew very little about marriage.

“I was 14 years old, what did I know? What does a 14-year-old girl know about marriage?” Akothee questioned.
