Akothee’s song with Diamond was dropped in January 2016, and two months later she worked with Flavor to drop ‘Give It To Me’ which was also a big hit.

Akothee further noted that ‘Sweet Love’ was the first song to be recorded at Wasafi studios, and that they spent the whole night working on it.

Adding that;

Akothee further revealed that she first met Diamond in South Africa while working with popular video director The God Father on another project.

“Diamond aliona kwamba kuna talent. Sitasema ulikuwa marafiki lakini inasemekana it depends on the streets where you walk… mara yangu ya kwanza kukutana na Diamond niliweza kufanya kazi na God Father tukakutana naye South Africa,” said Akothee.
