Akothee and her mzungu sweetheart Omondi are set to wed in a white wedding in a few days to come.
The mother of five opened up about how her soon-to-be husband interacts with her children while speaking to vloggers at JKIA upon touching down from Europe where she had gone to buy her wedding gown.
The singer noted that the white lover understands how to communicate well with her children.
“My children love him, they really love him. Omosh is brilliant. He knows how to handle my children,” she said.
However, the 43-year-old musician revealed that his children never call Omondi ‘daddy’.
She made it clear that they always call him by his real name because they are already mature and have great understanding.
“They call him Dennis because my children are now grown up. They don’t have the courage to call someone ‘father’,” she said.
She added; “When they were little they used to bother me asking if they could call my boyfriend ‘daddy’.”
Akothee jokingly said that her three daughters now have to call their husbands ‘daddy’.
The mother of five traveled to Europe about a week ago and was able to visit Switzerland and France.
During the interview, she noted that the main reason for her visit was to buy her important clothes including a wedding dress and underwear, making it clear that she usually buys her underwear abroad.
“I had gone to buy my underwear because I don’t buy here in Kenya to be honest. Those are very important things to consider. The biggest one is my wedding dress because I looked for it and missed it,” he said.
Although his two young children live in France, the singer did not get a chance to visit or see them.
He said that the protests in the European country affected transportation and therefore he could not reach the area where they live.
“My children live far away. I would have to take a taxi to Paris and then take a train for four hours. When there is a strike like that, it is very difficult to get there. So I have not been there,” she said.
The musician however revealed that he was able to meet his fiancé and had a good time with him.
