the Most Influential People of African Descent (MIPAD) 100 identifies high achievers of African descent in public and private sectors from all around the world as a progressive network of relevant actors to join together in the spirit of recognition, justice and development of Africa and AKA is one of the people to get recognized by the fraternity after naming the American Senegalese born musician Akon with the same accolade in the recent past.

The South African rapper AKA becomes the first African musician to be given this accolade thus far and he was humbled by MIPAD and went on to say this;

In recognition of the International Decade for People of African Descent, proclaimed by United Nation’s General Assembly resolution 68/237 and to be observed from 2015 to 2024, the Most Influential People of African Descent (MIPAD) 100 identifies high achievers of African descent in public and private sectors from all around the world as a progressive network of relevant actors to join together in the spirit of recognition, justice and development of Africa, it’s people on the continent and across it’s Diaspora. Thank You @mipad100 🌍🙏🏼 #Top100 under 40 🇿🇦™

Other notable Kenyans who have been named are Joseph Mucheru, Umra Omar, Eric Kinoti, Isaac Mwigwe, James Mworia and David Kobia

I am a Pan-Afrikanist to the core and love to let the world know what they are missing in Africa. I might do that through music and some interesting posts from time to time so please bare with me.

I will always be real though, that's a guarantee.
