AKA has finally been laid to rest in a private provincial funeral in Johannesburg.

The family buried the slain rapper in a private ceremony held on Saturday February 18, 2023, after a memorial service which was attended by members of the public.

Fans were stunned by AKA’s funeral procession which was made up of high-end BMWs vehicles.

The procession left AKA’s house and drove to the Westpark cemetery where the rapper’s remains were interred.

Brief prayers were conducted at the cemetery before family, relatives and friends bid their final goodbye to AKA.

The body was lowered into the grave and one by one family members took turns to throw a handful of soil into the rapper’s final resting place.

AKA’s daughter Kairo was composed as she bid her late dad the final goodbye. The girl was inconsolable during her father’s memorial service. 

After all was done and dusted, AKA’s final resting place remained glittering with a custom granite gravestone which bears his name, photo and the words written ”Long live supamega, live long’.
