The fashion stylist was born in a family of eight in Mathare slums, he started as a hawker dealing in assorted second hand clothes.

To supplement the proceeds from mitumba sales, Adigo says he learned German with an aim of flying to Germany to try some opportunities, and also to take around German speaking tourists, who frequented the slum.

“I longed to fly abroad, specifically Germany in 2018, but that did not happen. It is what inspired my decision partly to wed on a plane. I also wanted to do something creative, something different from normal weddings. I wanted something unique for my wife,” says Adigo.

Adding that;

“My dreams of leaving the country were shattered in 2018 when my father died.”
