AD Family makes history in Uganda

In case you don’t know, AD Family is an independent music group in Nairobi, Kenya. It consists of Four Members ;(Boutross Munene, Kevin Wambugu, Musau Mumo Wayne Wood) and here’s a bit of their hierarchical breakdown;

Musau Mumo – President/Manager/Executive Producer
Boutross Munene – Composer, Producer, Rapper
Kevin Wambugu – Composer, Producer, Rapper
Wayne Wood – Singer, Rapper, Composer

AD Family became the very first Kenyan hip hop group in Kenyan history to ever perform at the MTN NyegeNyege Festival event that began 2 years ago.

The group -who have been predominantly dominating the Kenyan rap and hip-hop scenes with almost every member of the AD Family having projects out, individually and some as a group- performed in front of over 2000 people where their set began at midnight to a welcoming crowd who were feeling their presence on stage.

Ad Family are a hip-hop group that are currently molding the industry with a new style of rap delivery that aims to put Kenyan music especially rap and hip-hop to the musical map that makes Kenyan music standout everywhere and not only across the eastern African region but across the entire African region and later on across the globe, gradually but surely.
