Ace Tha Don has proved without any reasonable doubt that he’s one of the best rappers to ever come from the eastern part of Africa and he has done that in an unprecedented fashion.

The Kenyan rapper who now has 7 projects to his name released his anticipated project dubbed ‘War Ready’ which has been well received by fans and critics alive.

In the ‘War Ready’ record, Ace Tha Don had something to say about the current state of hip hop, not only in Kenya but across the African continent.

Ace Tha Don had something to say when Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez was beefing with Khaligraph Jones but then, he didn’t respond instantly even though Khaligraph Jones himself urged him personally to jump on his own track titled ‘War Ready’.

Just a backstory on this, Blaqbonez called out Khaligraph Jones for winning the Soundcity MVP Awards for best hip hop Africa beating him to the punch, it didn’t sit well with him at all and that’s why he chose to diss Brian Ouko Omollo alias Khaligraph Jones on a record.

The ‘War Ready’ got released less than 48 hours after Khaligraph Jones asked Ace Tha Don to tap himself into the West versus East rap battle to prove to the masses across the world that indeed, the “East has something to say”.

“Less than 48 hours later, my track “War Ready” dropped. I went a step further and called out not just the West, but also the South.” Ace Tha Don told Biggest Kaka in part.

In all honest truth, Ace Tha Don really went in on his hit record ‘War Ready’ which is taken off his recently released studio project dubbed ‘Plus I Rap Good’ released a few days ago.

Ace Tha Don didn’t only prove his rap prowess, his lyrical ability on the track, he also proved that he belongs to be among the top rappers not only in Kenya but across the African continent.

“All-in-all, I was just exercising my lyrical ability.” Ace Tha Don said, “And not to sound biased, but I think my track was the best one out in terms of writing and lyricism, albeit being overlooked.”
