You all remember the good jams like “Kapuka”, “Tabia Mbaya”, “Illektrikk Posse” where they feature Zimbabwean rapper Mizchif and the Ugandan sensational Bebe Cool and their debut album Nairobbery, was released in 2002 by Samawati Studios which revolutionized the Kenyan hip hop industry to its core but after their 2004 album, Nairobizm, hip hop in Kenya was in a whole new level thanks to the duo but what a blow Kenyan Hip Hop enthusiasts felt after the duo disbanded in 2005 when Bamboo saw the light and got saved. Abass Kubaff and Bamboo have been flying solo ever since but thanks might that they are back together, somewhat and released a sick track “Changamka” which takes us to the good old K- South that we all came to love and missed. If you haven’t listen to this track, you ought to listen to it because this is one rejuvenating jam that is getting some massive airwaves in the country right now.
We sure love the new track that Bamboo and Abbass Kubaff has released this time and we only hope that they are coming back together to release an E.P if not an L.P and/or an album because if they do, I know for a fact folks will be lining up to go to their sold outs shows, who knows, they might even pull up a Kanye West x Jay Z combo. below is the track.
