Kisii leaders led by the former Constitution Implementation Commission (CIC) chairman, Charles Nyachae and Nyaribari Chache MP, Richard Tonge have implored the former ODM secretary general, Ababu Namwamba to work with them in 2017.
The Kisii leaders called Luhya nation to support Namwamba since they had already supported him.
The disgruntled secretary general had hinted that he would be forming a formidable force that will push the Jubilee and the CORD coalitions during the 2017 general election.
Ababu was photographed holding a cooking stick amid speculation that it was likely to be the symbol for his new political party. He also rejected an offer by the TNA to join the Jubilee coalition.
He said that TNA was not an option but would consider forming a sturdy force in good time.
