Most hip hop fans have seen Khaligraph Jones coming up to the top of the hip hop realm in Kenya and gradually continuing to carve a name for himself in the rap business across the globe starting with Africa.
It has not always been easy for the self proclaimed ‘OG’ Khaligraph Jones who has recently worked with former member of the now defunct group, P-Square, Rudeboy and Ghanaian illest rapper, Sarkodie.
He has worked with Sarkodie twice with one record being unreleased yet.
Taking to social media, Khaligraph Jones shared an interesting clip of himself when he was still a teenager and still he was a lethal emcee even then.
When I was a Young Boy around 15, 16 years old, I stepped up on the Stage for the 1st time as Khaligraph Jones, it was on this day, since then I never looked back, …
The video that he shared on social media was apparently the video of himself first climbing on a stage to perform for others’ entertainment. It was his first time live on stage.
“When I was a Young Boy around 15, 16 years old, I stepped up on the Stage for the 1st time as Khaligraph Jones, it was on this day, since then I never looked back, I made it to the finals but lost the last Battle cause I was Spitting real barz and not Mchongoano, but you Know what? That was the Genesis of the OG.. The OG shall Be respected” Khaligraph Jones wrote on social media, clearly proud of how far he has come from.
Khaligraph Jones is one of the baddest rappers to ever come from Kenya and even the legendary American rapper Styles P gave him a massive shout out the other day calling him the future Mr. International artiste to ever come from the Kenyan rap scene.
