Amani G has always wanted to redefine music, and she’s already doing it at 13 years old, and she just finished her primary education recently having sat for her KCPE in November 2018.
Known as Glorious Amani, the bubbly girl who hails from Githurai, mesmerized the nation with her melodious rendition of Alicia Keys’ hit song ‘Girl on Fire’ in early 2018.
She immediately gained recognition from Alicia Keys amongst many other Influential figures worldwide and in a post on her Instagram and Twitter account, Alicia Keys expressed how impressed she was by the young, beautiful Kenyan girl Amani G. She was immediately signed to Pinecreek Music, who took over her music career, studies, and daily upkeep through a lucrative record deal.
Her melodious, powerful, and dreamy voice is the perfect mix of an RnB maestro with a touch of pop sparkle.
Amani G hails from a humble background and she lives with her mother, who worked odd jobs to feed and educate her four children.
Through her music, Amani has been able to uplift the living standards of her family as well as inspire many just like her. Her debut single ‘Sitasahau’ hit the airwaves in July 2018 and was shortly followed by “In love” featuring Vivian. In her third release this year, Amani featured Piston in a song titled ‘Ni Poa’ which is one of the singles that will be in her Upcoming EP dubbed ’13’ which will be launched on December 2nd, 2018.
