Shorn Arwa is demanding that Vera Sidika return to her throne as the “Queen of Otile Brown’s heart” for the sake of Kenyan music.
In a viral Instagram video posted on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, the outspoken content creator made a passionate plea for the “Queen of Socialites” to rekindle her flame with Otile Brown.
According to Arwa, the ‘Mapenzi Hisia’ star’s music has become “stagnant,” and only a toxic dose of Sidika-induced heartbreak can return him to his former glory.
“Vera Sidika, we are actually humbly requesting, can you please give, you know, one last chance?” Arwa asked her followers.
“I don’t know what Vera was giving Otile Brown, but this nigga was singing! Vera Sidika! Wake up!”
Arwa’s nostalgia centers on the summer of 2018, a period where the duo dominated the airwaves with the hit ‘Baby Love’.

Arwa argued that Otile’s current musical output lacks the “back-to-back” intensity of his era with Vera.
“Somebody cannot heartbreak Otile Brown and then send that nigga in the studio and give us a back-to-back song?” she joked.
Her comments suggest that for Otile, pain is the ultimate propellant for a chart-topping hit.
The request follows recent admissions from Otile Brown himself regarding the socialite’s impact on his brand.
Speaking in a past interview with Oga Obinna, the singer gave Vera her “flowers,” acknowledging that her massive social influence helped catapult him into the mainstream.
“I think it’s only right. I was big, but not all the way,” Brown admitted.
“Being that she was a popular socialite at the time, it kinda fueled it.”
However, he has also famously claimed that he was “never physically attracted” to Vera initially, alleging that she was the one who pursued him.
The pair’s original relationship ended in a spectacular social media war, with Vera accusing Otile of using her for financial gain and Otile hitting back with claims of being coerced into parenthood.
The split was so “ugly” it included Vera spilling intimate details about their private life to “spite” the singer.
Despite the history of “tears and drama,” Shorn Arwa believes the sacrifice is worth it for the fans.
“Listen! Why? What are you doing?” she shouted in her video, pointing to the current state of the industry.
As the “reunion” hashtag begins to trend, the ball is firmly in Vera Sidika’s court. Will she return to be the muse the nation—and Shorn Arwa—is begging for, or is the “Baby Love” chapter permanently closed?
