He is one of the tallest—and most recognizable—men in Kenya, but even Bradley Marongo couldn’t seem to catch the camera’s eye at Citizen TV this week.
The viral sensation, known as the “Gen Z Goliath,” was a constant fixture alongside American streamer iShowSpeed during his record-breaking Nairobi tour.
However, his management team is crying foul over the lack of coverage given to him by local broadcasters.
Taking to social media on Monday, January 12, 2026, Bradley’s manager, Director Trevor, issued a pointed warning to the country’s leading TV station.
“It’s okay, Citizen. So Gen Z Goliath was not a major part of iShowSpeed’s stream? It’s ok no problem,” Trevor wrote.
“One day, you’ll ask for an exclusive. Ni sawa (It’s okay). But Kenya has been amazing,” he added.
Despite the perceived snub, Bradley’s team appears to be playing the long game.
Since rising to fame in late 2024, Marongo has transitioned from a viral “sighting” to a legitimate entertainment brand, featuring in music videos for stars like Bien-Aimé Baraza and landing international job offers.
Industry insiders note that it is common for local talent to be overshadowed when global icons like iShowSpeed arrive, but Trevor’s “cool and collected” response suggests they are prioritizing digital influence over traditional TV spots.
While the cameras at Citizen TV may have been focused elsewhere, the internet was not.
Clips of Bradley towering over the American YouTuber have garnered millions of views on TikTok and Instagram, proving that the “Goliath” doesn’t need a TV studio to reach his audience.

For now, Bradley’s team is focusing on “the big plan”—which reportedly includes more international collaborations and brand partnerships.
As Trevor put it, they are ready to use any media opportunity that comes their way later on—but on their own terms.
