It was the social media feud that brought Kenyan music to a standstill: the clash between rap heavyweight Khaligraph Jones and socialite Huddah Monroe.
Now, details of their bitter rivalry—including Huddah’s shocking, sexual threat that ultimately silenced the ‘OG’—have resurfaced.
The feud, which began in early 2020, involved public snubs, a dedicated rap diss track, and a famously provocative response that became folklore in Kenyan celebrity circles.

The beef was ignited on March 20, 2020, when entrepreneur Huddah Monroe delivered a devastating public snub to one of East Africa’s most celebrated rappers.
During a highly publicized interview, the socialite claimed she knew Khaligraph Jones (known widely as Papa Jones, OG, or Daddy Jones) was a successful artist but asserted, dismissively, that she did not know any of his songs.
This public dismissal, delivered by a woman famous for her unapologetic lifestyle, was a direct hit to the rapper’s monumental ego and triggered an instant response.

Just days later, on March 24-25, 2020, Khaligraph retaliated swiftly and musically.
He dropped the track “Yes Bana,” where he directly addressed Huddah, claiming she had ignored his phone calls because she mistakenly thought he was trying to date her.
The attack wasn’t confined to the official track. Khaligraph also released a furious freestyle diss on social media, specifically singling out and targeting her.

Huddah Monroe’s response was immediate and utterly jaw-dropping.
Instead of backing down, she hit back with a sexually charged threat on Instagram that critics suggested left the formidable rapper speechless.
She famously threatened to “manhandle” him to make him leave her alone, mockingly declaring: “Daddy Jones, Nitakudinya uachane na mimi!”

The shocking, explicit nature of the threat led to a noticeable silence from the OG, who largely dismissed the drama in subsequent interviews, suggesting Huddah had won the round by turning the feud into a viral, explicit joke.
The two continued to exchange jabs through 2022 and 2023, but the feud regained traction in late 2025.
In mid-November 2025, Huddah sparked fresh controversy by publicly stating she would “rather stay single than marry a Kenyan man,” accusing them of having terrible etiquette and poor standards—a lifestyle critique that inevitably circles back to her famous clash with one of the country’s biggest male stars.
