Musician and songwriter Iyanii has sparked a national conversation after revealing he has been repeatedly targeted by fans offering vast sums of money in a shocking attempt to persuade him to surrender his virginity.
In a candid and revealing interview, the 27-year-old singer, whose real name is Ian Okwemba Oure, insisted that despite the tempting offers—which soared to Ksh3 million from one determined female admirer—he remains firmly committed to his vow of purity.
Speaking on the Mic Cheque podcast in an episode aired Sunday, December 14, 2025, the ‘Kifo cha mende’ hitmaker recounted the bizarre approaches from women desperate to be the first to be intimate with him.
Iyanii revealed that the offers started with a bold direct message from a woman offering a substantial financial incentive.
“I am genuinely 27 years old and genuinely a virgin,” Iyanii recalled.
“Juzi kuna dem amenidm akaniambia, ‘I will give you half a million if you come and allow me to take your virginity,’ but nimekata [but I refused].”
Initially, the star laughed off the offer, assuming it was a joke. However, the woman was deadly serious and swiftly increased the stakes.
“I just laughed about it, akaniambia. ‘I will make it double, wewe kuja and let me take away your virginity,’” the singer explained.
The pursuit did not stop there, leading to the ultimate financial temptation.

Despite the intense pressure that comes with fame, the ‘Donjo Maber’ star insists his decision is non-negotiable, confirming he is now in a relationship with Diana Kemunto but maintains strict boundaries.
