A fierce public feud has erupted between Tanzanian music heavyweights, with singer Harmonize launching an explosive attack on newly elected MP Baba Levo, accusing the politician of being a mere pawn of his rival, Diamond Platnumz, and demanding answers about his political funding.
In a lengthy, unsparing Instagram post on Friday, December 12, 2025, the Konde Gang founder did not hold back, tearing into Baba Levo, real name Clayton Revocatus Chipando, the MP for Kigoma Town, for his alleged blind support of the WCB boss, Diamond.
Harmonize sensationally questioned the source of the MP’s political wealth, publicly challenging Baba Levo to reveal the true benefactor behind his successful run for the ruling Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) party.
“ANYWAYS IPO SIKU UTASEMA NANI ALIMEKUSAIDIA PESA ZOTE ZAKUFANYIA KAMPENI,” Harmonize wrote, directly translating to an explosive demand for the MP to disclose who truly financed his political campaign.
The ‘Kidedea’ crooner claimed that Diamond has provided little beyond superficial gestures for the MP, accusing Baba Levo of simply being content with “photo opportunities” and lacking genuine support from the WCB founder.
Baba Levo worked at Wasafi FM as a presenter prior to being elected Kigoma Town MP.
The most shocking personal attack, however, came with Harmonize’s claim about their private encounters. He alleged that the MP routinely whines about money whenever they cross paths in casinos.
“UMEKUWA UKILALAMIKA KILA TUKIKUTANA KASINO!!! NDIO KAULI YAKO YAKUOMBEA HELA NDUGU MBUNGE,” the singer stated, suggesting the MP is constantly asking for cash, using casino meetings as an opportunity to beg.
Harmonize used the feud to highlight what he called Diamond’s true, “ruthless” nature, questioning Baba Levo’s unwavering loyalty.
He warned the MP that if Diamond is “strict with his own family members,” an outsider like Baba Levo should understand the limits of any support.
Furthermore, he dragged other WCB affiliates into the mix, citing artistes like Angela, who were allegedly promised collaborations by Diamond that never materialised, and Ibraah, whose music was not properly promoted despite his legal exit from the label being facilitated by Diamond.
Harmonize concluded his tirade by framing the entire controversy as “DRAMA TUU,” emphasising his own resilience in overcoming past attempts to sabotage his career, stating that his success is rooted in his faith and the strength of his Konde Gang foundation.
