Tanzanian singer Harmonize has issued a stern warning to anyone attempting to link his name to former boss Diamond Platnumz, insisting that continued associations are misleading and could provoke legal action.
The founder of Konde Music Worldwide shared his message via an Instagram video on Thursday, December 11, 2025, following comments made by social media personality Francis Majizzo, who claimed in a recent interview that Diamond “fathered” Harmonize’s music career.
“I was watching that interview, and it’s a lie for him to say he is the father and all that. The problem comes when he mentioned my name under Diamond. I called Majizzo and told him that that is wrong,” Harmonize said.
The award-winning artist emphasized that while he appreciates Diamond for providing him an initial platform in the music industry, that chapter of his career is over and should not define his current status.
“Yeah, he put me in the label at first, and I appreciate it, but he ended up asking for his money at the end. And now look at me — where is my music label?” Harmonize added.
He insisted that repeated efforts to associate him with Diamond are undermining his growth as an independent artist.
“I am a big fish now. You can’t mention my name under him, and this message goes to everybody. Do not mention my name under him because he does not deserve it,” he stated firmly.
Harmonize’s message comes amid growing attention on his rise as an independent artist and the success of his music label, which he has used to nurture new talent under his own brand.
The singer’s remarks have already sparked reactions online, with fans supporting his call for recognition as a self-made artist. Many praised him for standing up against attempts to diminish his achievements by constantly linking him to Diamond Platnumz.
