TikTok sensation and celebrated photographer Faustine Lipuku, popularly known as Baba Talisha, has emotionally opened up about his daughter’s recent diagnosis with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

In a heartfelt Instagram post shared on Thursday, Lipuku revealed that his daughter, Talisha, was officially diagnosed with Autism Level 2, ADHD Combined Type, and Dyslexia, marking a significant turning point in their five-year medical journey.

“It shook me. I won’t lie. I cried. I questioned. I broke down,” he wrote. “Because as a parent, all you ever want is for your child’s life to be easy… not another mountain to climb.”

Talisha’s story is one that has moved many. In 2020, she survived a traumatic accident that left her with a severe head injury. Since then, the young girl has endured years of therapy and rehabilitation, with her family standing by her side through every step.

While the diagnosis brought tears, it also brought clarity. For Lipuku, the revelation was not about labels but about understanding his daughter better.

“This diagnosis doesn’t define her. It explains her,” he added. “She is still our miracle baby. She is still breaking odds.”

The news sparked an outpouring of support online, with fans praising Lipuku’s vulnerability and unwavering love for his daughter.

With the diagnosis now in hand, the family is preparing for a new chapter. Talisha will resume occupational and speech therapy, begin a tailored education support plan, and receive medication to help her cope more effectively with daily life.

“This is not the end,” Lipuku said in his post. “Just a new beginning—with answers.”

The TikToker, whose real-life documentation of fatherhood has earned him thousands of followers, concluded by thanking those who’ve stood by Talisha since her accident, saying, “She is not alone.”

Fans and fellow influencers have since rallied behind the family, calling Talisha a “fighter” and praising Lipuku’s courage in speaking publicly about neurodiversity.
