The gloves are officially off in the fallout of one of YouTube’s most high-profile international romances.
Argentinian singer has sensationally branded her ex-partner, Kenyan travel influencer Fredrick Marwa—known to millions as Iam Marwa—a liar, after he claimed he was left in the dark about the end of their relationship.
In a blistering Instagram broadside on Monday, March 16, 2026, Rocio accused the vlogger of playing the victim for his audience, insisting he was fully aware of the impending announcement—and even mocked her for it.
The row erupted after Marwa took to social media to suggest he was “learning the news from online,” implying he was just as shocked as his fans when Rocio posted a video confirming they had parted ways.
Rocio, however, tells a very different story. She claims that not only did he know the announcement was coming, but he also used it as an opportunity to take a swipe at her career.
“I’m not going to be fighting back and forth. But to say that he didn’t know I was announcing the separation is not fair,” Rocio stated.

“He knew very well, and he laughed at me, saying that ‘as I don’t have views, I need it to bring it to the internet.’”
The musician, who shares a young son with the YouTuber, expressed her “relief” that the truth was finally out, stating that her only goal was to move forward with her life after quietly fleeing Kenya months ago.
Rocio didn’t stop at calling out his alleged lies; she also took aim at Marwa’s comments regarding her digital influence.
Defending her online presence, she reminded the travel star that her social media work is what puts food on the table for their child.
“He should be happy if I have a lot of views, as I’m providing for my son,” she stated flatly, hitting back at the “clout-chasing” narrative.

The singer revealed that when she originally left Kenya, she chose to remain silent to avoid a public spectacle.
“I did not want to make a lot of noise about it. I wanted to leave in peace,” she explained.
However, Marwa’s “blindsided” narrative appears to have been the final straw.
The drama follows Rocio’s official YouTube announcement on Sunday, March 15, 2026, where she thanked Marwa for “giving me my son” but confirmed that their romantic journey had reached a definitive end.
While Marwa continues to travel the globe for his “Iam Marwa” channel, the reality back home—or across the Atlantic—appears far more fractured than his “surprised” posts suggest.
As the “he-said, she-said” battle intensifies, fans are left wondering if the pair can ever find a middle ground for the sake of their son, or if this digital war is just getting started.
