Controversial content creator Pritty Vishy has sent social media into a tailspin after advising women to “opt-out” of motherhood, claiming that the modern family structure is a “trap” where women do all the work while men take all the credit.
Taking to her Instagram stories on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, the 24-year-old socialite didn’t hold back as she dismantled the traditional image of the “doting father.”
According to Vishy, most men are only interested in the biological act of procreation and the social status that comes with having a child, rather than the grueling, day-to-day labor of raising one.
In a post that has since been shared thousands of times, Vishy argued that the physical and emotional toll of pregnancy and parenting is something men would never tolerate if the roles were reversed.
“Men don’t love kids, they love the process of making kids,” she wrote.
“They love telling their friends and society they have kids. They don’t care about kids. If they were the ones to get pregnant, men would never do that. So women, please choose yourselves and be child-free.”

While her comments may seem harsh to some, they come from a place of lived experience.
Vishy has been candid about her role as a primary caregiver for her non-verbal autistic sister.
Earlier this year, she admitted that the “unimaginable” responsibility of caring for a family member with special needs has permanently altered her desire to have children of her own.
Reflecting on her current life, Vishy noted that even though she faces financial hurdles, she is “grateful” that she doesn’t have the added weight of dependents.
“Imagine being broke with two kids. At least I’m broke on my own,” she told her followers on January 7.
The star, who previously hit headlines for her high-profile breakup with musician Stivo Simple Boy, concluded by telling women that their worth is not measured by their womb.
Whether her followers agree or not, Vishy has firmly placed herself at the center of the “Soft Life vs. Motherhood” debate currently sweeping across Kenya.
