Tipsy Gee, the TikTok sensation-turned-rapper, was forced to eat humble pie this week after a viral video showed him being physically confronted by his bitter rival, Toxic Lyrikali.
The tension, which has been simmering since late 2025, reached a breaking point this January, when Toxic cornered a “visibly shaken” Tipsy Gee to address what he termed “disrespectful clout-chasing.”
In the footage that has since racked up millions of views, Tipsy can be seen apologizing for his online disses, a sharp contrast to his bravado on social media.
The rift originated when Tipsy Gee reportedly reached out to Toxic for a musical feature, only to be flatly rejected.
In retaliation, Tipsy released a viral skit depicting himself in a luxury car while actors portraying Toxic Lyrikali and fellow artist Fathermoh rode on boda bodas (motorcycles)—implying they were struggling financially compared to his TikTok success.

Toxic, who prides himself on being a “serious lyricist,” was unimpressed.
“You are just a TikToker; I am a musician,” he fired back on Facebook, sparking a debate on whether social media fame translates to musical legitimacy.
The conflict intensified in early January when Tipsy Gee released a freestyle mockingly flipping Toxic’s signature line, “Siezi wa-carry wakidandia career” (I can’t carry people piggybacking on my career).
Toxic’s response wasn’t a verse, but a face-to-face meeting. Following the confrontation, Toxic claimed he only wanted to “clear the air” and had no intention of escalating the violence further.

As of January 16, 2026, the physical beef appears to have shifted into a lucrative “commercial war.”
Both artists are now competing for fan votes on the popular Juice in the Mix platform, where their discographies are being pitted against each other in a literal “battle of the hits.”
While Tipsy Gee claims his digital numbers prove he is the king of the new era, Toxic remains adamant that “clout” is no match for “craft.” One thing is certain: in the streets of Nairobi, the “Nduthi Gang” jokes have officially stopped.
