Eric Omondi is seeking to introduce a bill in Parliament which will compel local media houses to play 75 percent of Kenyan songs on their TV and radio stations.

The comedian exuded confidence that his proposed bill will be tabled in the August House after a meeting with Embakasi East MP Babu Owino.

Eric sensationally claimed that the bill will be tabled in Parliament next week and that it shall sail through the stages of the House without any opposition.

“Today at Parliament buildings with Hon. Babu Owino working on the last touches for next week Tuesday. Next week Tuesday we will be tabling the Bill in Parliament officially. It’s a Journey but we will get there. The MPs will pass the Bill and the President will sign it into Law. @he.babuowino,” Eric wrote.
