50 Cent publicly endorsed president Donald Trump about a week ago in a move that sparked widespread criticisms including from his own ex girlfriend.

The rapper explained that he was voting for Trump because he didn’t like Joe Biden’s tax plan which will see wealthy Americans making over $400,000 a year hit with a 62% tax rate, if the democratic party flag bearer wins November 3rd presidential elections.

The the controversial rapper also said that he will leave America for another country if Trump loses to Joe Biden in November polls.

50 Cent has since make a quick U-turn to trash his endorsement of Trump for a second term in office, this after the rapper’s ex girlfriend Chelsea Handler publicly criticized him.

In an interview on “The Tonight Show” with host Jimmy Fallon on Sunday, 50’s ex girlfriend called him out saying his reckless decision to support Trump could influence other black people to make a similar decision.

“He [50 Cent] doesn’t want to pay 62% of taxes because he doesn’t want to go from 50 Cent to 20 Cent. I had to remind him that he was a Black person, so he can’t vote for Donald Trump, and that he shouldn’t be influencing an entire swath of people who may listen to him because he’s worried about his own personal pocketbook,” said Chelsea Handler.

50 Cent quickly retracted his endorsement of president Trump following his ex’s criticisms. The rapper took to social media and wrote;

“F**k Donald Trump, I never liked him. for all I know he had me set up and had my friend Angel Fernandez killed but that’s history. LOL.”
