Police raided the homes of Nasa financier on Tuesday October 17th. Police ransacked the billionaire’s houses in Nairobi and Malindi and claimed to found guns and bullets.
Wanjigi’s businesses and offices were also combed through by the police. The billionaire was however nowhere to be found during police raid.
Reports indicated that Wanjigi had locked himself in a strong room in his Muthaiga house. He resurfaced at his Muthaiga residence when police finally left his compound.
Wanjigi’s wife Irene Nzisa was seen tightly embracing her husband during a press conference at his Muthaiga house on Wednesday after he resurfaced.
Photo of Nzisa clutching on her husband during the press conference has gone viral. Kenyans have since started #JimmyWanjigiChallenge to make fun of the billionaire’s wife.
