Uhuru Kenyatta’s controversial win sent Jubilee supporters celebrating in their strongholds. Jubilee supporters poured out in the streets of Nakuru and towns across Central when IEBC declared Uhuru as the winner of October 26th shambolic election.
A 14-year-old boy was run over by a trailer while celebrating Uhuru’s win in Bahati, Nakuru county. The boy was hit by the trailer that had the music system entertaining hundreds of residents along the streets of Mchanganyiko estate shortly after the winner was announced.
The accident victim is a class 8 pupil at Lenana Primary School. He survived the accident but probably he wont sit for KCPE exams which starts in October 31st.
The boy is currently recuperating at St. Mary’s Hospital in Gilgil. His bother has asked Jubilee leaders in the area to assist her foot hospital bills which are still accumulating.
