IEBC official commits suicide after presiding election

The body of one Orenge Nyabicha is currently at the mortuary after he allegedly committed suicide after his body was found on Saturday morning. Mr. Nyabicha was a presiding officer at the Imara Daima polling Station for the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission(IEBC).

Autopsy done on the body revealed that he died from carbon monoxide in his system. The police found a suicide note of Mr Orenge Nyabicha which was taken to Embakasi Village Police Station that expressed his lamentations and frustrations in the electoral body’s failure to deliver a credible, free and fair election.

Mr. Orenge Nyabicha’s house in Quarry, Pipeline was found completely covered thus having no ventilation whatsoever in the room.
