Big Brother Africa spin-off to be hosted in Nairobi

Big Brother Africa spin-off ‘Godfather East Africa’ is set to hit the screens sometimes in 2018. The reality show will draw contestants from three East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Rwanda.

Godfather East Africa (GFEA) will be hosted in Nairobi and will air on NTV and Citizen TV.  GFEA producers recently held their second meeting in Nairobi to discuss application process, applicant’s instructions and the GFEA 2018 house rules.

Auditions will be carried out in Nairobi, Kigali, Kampala and Dar es salaam for all applicants from all the four East African countries.

Godfather East Africa house/flat will last for a period of 3 months on the TV screens. The winner shall walk-away with Kshs. 2,500,000 equivalent to UGX. 85M and Tzshs. 50million.

Contestants will have little or no privacy in the GFEA house. The house will extensively be outfitted with video cameras and audio recording devices which will record, broadcast and exhibit their actions and voices at all times twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week in every room of the contestants for the duration of each one of their participation in the show.

Producers furthermore explained, the contestants will be observed at all times by both the producers as well as the general public watching on television, the Internet, mobile devices and any and all other media.
