Zuchu’s celebrity mother Khadija Omar Abdallah Kopa has revealed that her daughter is not married despite reports that she is hitched to her boss Diamond Platnumz.
Khadija Kopa in her interview with Mbego TV said that her daughter has not yet officially introduced her to anyone, adding that she expects any man, not just Diamond.
“Zuhra ni mwanamke, ikiwa kuna mwanaume anataka kumuoa na ambaye yuko tayari na sio Diamond peke yake, basi mimi sina suala, nataka mkwe,” Kopa alisema. (Zuhra is a woman, if there is a man who wants to marry her and who is ready and not Diamond alone, then I have no problem, I want a son-in-law),” Kopa said.
The legendary Taarab singer further denied the allegation that a secret marriage between Zuchu and Diamond took place.
“Hii ni habari kwangu. Si kweli, binti yangu hajaolewa wala hajanitambulisha kwa mtu yeyote kwa ajili ya ndoa,” Mama Zuchu aliongeza. (This is news to me. It is not true, my daughter is not married nor has she introduced me to anyone for marriage),” Kopa added.
However, Khadija Kopa’s feelings differed from those of Diamond’s mother, Mama Dangote, who has treated her son’s relationship with Zuchu in a different way.
This was seen during Zuchu’s birthday when she sent her a wish and referred to her as her daughter-in-law.
“Nakutakia maisha marefu yaliyojaa baraka binti mkwe Zuhura Othman Soud. (I wish you a long life full of blessings my daughter-in-law Zuhura Othman Soud),” Mama Dangote said
