Zari Hassan, the renowned socialite and mother of five, recently celebrated a significant milestone in her family as her son LilQ reached the age of adulthood, turning 18 years old.

Taking to Instagram, Zari shared a heartfelt video where she imparted words of wisdom to her son as he officially entered adulthood.

In the candid conversation captured in the video, LilQ appeared somewhat bashful as his mother addressed various aspects of growing up, particularly navigating romantic relationships.

Zari, understanding the awkwardness, reassured her son that discussing such matters with her was perfectly normal and encouraged open communication.

Acknowledging the realities of modern dating, Zari expressed her support for her son exploring relationships, emphasizing the importance of making meaningful choices.

She urged him to seek out partners who possess qualities similar to hers – beauty, intelligence, and diligence.

Addressing LilQ directly, Zari conveyed her expectations with a blend of maternal guidance and playful banter.

“You know this generation is spoiled… It’s my pleasure, you go meet girls, it’s a good thing, I like it in my sons,” she said, encouraging him to engage with potential partners while also setting high standards for the type of individuals he should pursue.

Lil Quincy is the third child born to Zari and her late husband Ivan Don Ssemwanga, preceding her union with Tanzanian music sensation Diamond Platnumz, with whom she shares two more children, Tiffah and Nillan.

Zari’s commitment to nurturing her children and instilling values of integrity and discernment shines through in her candid and affectionate advice to her son as he embarks on his journey into adulthood.
